Terms and Conditions of the Valmont Treatment at Harrods Beauty Room Prize Draw Promotion Running From 11.04.2024 to 24.04.2024

Welcome to the Valmont Treatment at Harrods Beauty Room Prize Draw Promotion!

SECTION 1 – PRIZE DRAW ORGANISATION

This Prize Draw is organised by CVL Cosmetics SA, whose registered office is located at Place du Port 1, Morges 1110, registered in the Trade and Companies Register of Bourg-en-Bresse under number 50955759100013 (the "Organiser”). By participating in the Valmont Treatment at Harrods Beauty Room Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”), the participant (the “Participant”) accepts and agrees to these terms and conditions of participation (the “Terms”).

 

SECTION 2 – CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The Prize Draw is open to any person aged 18 years or over at the date of entry, with a valid email address, access to the internet, and residing in the UK,  but excluding employees of the Organiser and their families or agents, any persons involved in the running of the Prize Draw, and Harrods employees.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

The Prize Draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Entries can be submitted from 10:00 on 11 April 2024 until 21:00 on 24 April 2024. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

 

SECTION 3 – TERMS OF PARTICIPATION


This Prize Draw takes place on lamaisonvalmont.com. All entries must be submitted via the following webpage:

To enter, Participants should scan the QR code which they will find at the Valmont counter in the White Hall at Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, London SW1X 7XL. The QR code will take Participants to the above webpage. To submit their entry, Participants will be asked to provide their name, city, email address, telephone number. Participants will have to agree with the contest terms and conditions and can also accept to receive Valmont marketing campaigns.

The Organiser accepts no responsibility for entries not received due to a technical fault (including any technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure) of any kind or which are rejected as a result of missing the required registration details.

 

SECTION 4 – SELECTION OF AND NOTIFICATION TO THE WINNER

There will be a total of one winner. The winner will be chosen by random draw, performed by a computer process that produces verifiable, random results, on 1 May 2024, from all the entry forms that have been validly submitted by eligible Participants within the promotional period.

All Participants will receive an email confirming whether or not they have won a prize in the Prize Draw. The winner will also be contacted via telephone. Winner notification will be via the details provided at entry. The winner will be notified on 1 May 2024. The winner must respond to the Organiser to claim the Prize. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond to the Organiser or has not claimed the Prize within 14 days of the notification, the Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the winner’s entitlement to the Prize and offer it to an alternative winner randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries. The Organiser does not accept any responsibility in the event that the winner cannot be contacted as a result of having provided incorrect contact details.

 

SECTION 5 – PRIZES

The winner will receive a 50-minute facial treatment by Valmont at the Harrods Beauty Room (the “Prize”).

The Prize can be redeemed in store by booking an appointment at the Valmont Counter at Harrods. The booking must be made within one year from the date of notification of winning. The time and date of the treatment will be selected by the winner but is subject to appointment availability at the Harrods Beauty Room.

The Prize may not under any circumstances be exchanged for its value in cash or for any other prize. The Organiser cannot be held liable for any failure by the winner to redeem their Prize within the one-year deadline.

The Organiser reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organiser's control makes it necessary to do so.

 

SECTION 6 – DISQUALIFICATION

The Organiser reserves the right to verify the winning entry, including by asking for the winner’s identity and proof of age, and will refuse to award the Prize if the conditions of participation are not met. A Participant whose form is not fully completed and/or is completed with false information will not be taken into consideration and will be disqualified from participating.

If the Organiser has reason to believe that a Participant has not complied with these Terms, and/or committed any fraud or attempted cheating, regardless of its form, this will result in the Participant’s disqualification from the Prize Draw. The Organiser may cancel or suspend all or part of the Prize Draw if it appears that fraud has occurred in any form, in particular in an electronic manner as part of participation in the Prize Draw.

 

SECTION 7 – PERSONAL DATA

The Organiser will only process Participants’ personal data as set out in its privacy policy which can be found here.

The Organiser will send details of the abbreviated name and county of residence of the winner to anyone who requests these details by emailing privacy@evalmont.com (with “Valmont Prize Draw – Winner Details” as the title)  within one month after the closing date of the Prize Draw. If a Participant objects to their details being published or made available if they are selected as the winner, they should contact the Organiser by emailing privacy@evalmont.com. In such circumstances, the Organiser will still provide their information to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.

 

SECTION 8 – LIABILITY

Participation implies knowledge and acceptance of: the characteristics and limits of the internet, the absence of protection of certain data against possible misuse or hacking, and the risks of contamination by possible viruses circulating on the network. The Organiser accepts no direct or indirect liability in the event of misuse or incident related to the use of the computer, internet access, maintenance or malfunction of the Prize Draw servers, the telephone line or any other technical connection, or the sending of entry forms to an incorrect or incomplete address. It is the responsibility of every Participant to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software stored on their computer equipment against any damage.

The Organiser will endeavour to allow access to the Prize Draw during the promotional period. However, the Organiser may, at any time, in particular for technical, update or maintenance reasons, interrupt access to the website and the Prize Draw. The Organiser reserves the right, if circumstances make it necessary, to shorten, extend, modify, hold void, suspend or cancel this Prize Draw. No compensation may be claimed in this respect.

The Organiser cannot be held liable for the poor functioning of the internet network, nor for any delay, loss or damage resulting from any third party services.

Nothing in these Terms will operate to exclude or limit the Organiser’s liability to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable laws. This includes (but is not limited to) liability for death or personal injury caused by the Organiser’s negligence or the negligence of the Organiser’s employees, agents or subcontractors, or any fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Participants’ statutory rights under consumer law are not affected by these Terms.

 

SECTION 9 – INTELLECTUAL, LITERARY AND ARTISTIC PROPERTY RIGHTS

The images used on the Prize Draw website, the objects represented, the trademarks and trade names mentioned, the graphic and computer elements, and the databases making up the Prize Draw website, are the exclusive property of their respective holders and cannot be extracted, reproduced or used without the written authorisation of the holder, or else there could be a penalty of civil and/or criminal proceedings.

 

SECTION 10 – GENERAL

If one or more provisions of these Terms is declared unenforceable or inapplicable, the other clauses will retain their full force and scope.

The Organiser’s decision regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the winner.

These Terms and this Prize Draw shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except if the Participant is resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, such Participant may bring a claim in their home jurisdiction.
