What is the difference between mineral and chemical SPF?
Mineral sunscreen sits on the skin, creating a shield-like barrier that reflects UVA and UVB rays for immediate protection. An excellent option for those who are concerned about long-term exposure to chemical ingredients.
Chemical sunscreen is absorbed by the skin, sponging up rays and converting them into non-damaging heat. It takes a little bit longer, approximately 20 minutes, to start protecting your skin.
Mineral sunscreen is notorious for leaving a white cast on the skin. Is it the case with Daily Veil?
No, even on darker skin tones, Daily Veil has the great advantage of providing immediate protection without unsightly white cast.
Is SPF30 protection sufficient?
Used correctly, sunscreen between 30 and 50 SPF offers adequate protection from harmful rays, even for sensitive skin types. Avoiding extensive exposure to the sun remains the best preventive measure towards protecting your skin.
Does Daily Veil have anti-aging properties?
By nature sunscreens prevent aging.
Is Daily Veil comedogenic?
Daily Veil is tested to be non-comedogenic (does not block pores).
Can I use Daily Veil as a moisturizer?

How do I fit Daily Veil into my skincare routine?
Daily Veil’s unctuous, satiny texture makes it easy to apply as the final touch in your skincare routine and before you apply your makeup. For younger skin that requires less skincare layering, it can also be used as a moisturizing fluid.
Is layering SPF-enhanced makeup and Daily Veil safe? If so does it increase the level of skin protection?
Yes, it is safe to layer makeup that contains an SPF on top of Daily Veil. However, SPF coefficients are not cumulative.
Can I mix Daily Veil with my makeup (ex. Liquid foundation)?
Not recommended as the differences in formulas could alter product efficacy.
Why is Daily Veil made in USA rather than Switzerland?
Although the formula was designed in Switzerland, Valmont decided to work with an American laboratory specialized in SPF to facilitate the production of this long-awaited North American SPF exclusivity in full compliance with North American standards and regulations.
Why is Daily Veil’s packaging different in Canada and USA? Is it the same product?
Yes, the product is identical, whereas the packaging differs to comply with each country’s sunscreen packaging regulations.
